Welcome to †he College Grove Methodist Church on the
information highway. The purpose of the Cyber Circuit Rider is to let you know that there is a church that is proud of the foundation our
forefathers built. The present is blessed with a group of dedicated Christians carrying on the traditions passed down from those before. There are new traditions being built to be passed on to the next generation.
The greatest of these remains spreading the good news of God's love.
If you desire to "get back" into a relationship with His church,
come to our house of healing: we offer a"hospital for sinners, not
a rest home for saints!"

The best is yet to come! As we celebrate our 120th year in our building, we are truely preparing for God's future. The month of June finds us not only with a new 5,000 sq. ft. Fellowship Hall, but a new Pastor, Reverend Eric Limbo, as well as a new Music Director, Mary Watkins!!
Reverend Limbo, his wife Sonja and 22 month old Caden come to us from the Hartsville United Methodist Church in Trousdale County. They are originally from Shelbyville.
Mary Watkins, and her daughter, are from College Grove and attended the College Grove Baptist Church. Mary is extremely talented and we are excited about forming a new choir and expanding our music ministry.
Phase II of our new Fellowship Hall has been completed and we remain debt free!! The building was dedicated on June 14 and we welcomed the community by hosting our Annual Summer Festival, with BBQ, home made ice cream and auction! You may learn more about our debt free project by viewing our

Please Note: Due to the design, type and depth of our new septic system (Modified Low Pressure Pipe System), there can be NO Parking or heavy foot traffic anywhere on the south side lawn.
Mosquito Nets For Africa
The children's Sunday School classes are on a mission to provide as many mosquito nets as possible for the Nothing But Nets program for children In Africa. The nets provide protection from Malaria laden mosquetos which cause one death every 30 seconds. Every $10.00 will provide 2 nets. Donations may be placed in the offering marked "NETS." In addition, our "Change the World" offering for April and may will go to this fund.
CGUMC Note Cards For Sale
The UMW Day Group has note cards featuring a picture of the church available for sale. The cards are in packages of 10 and sell for $5.00. See a member of the group or ask Bobbie. If you are out of town and would like to order a package, you may send a check in the amount of $7.00 ($5.00 + $2.00 postage & handling).

"Goodies From the Grove"
A collection of recipes by members of the College Grove United
Methodist Church is now available. The 140 page book contains 379
mouth watering recipes! The cost is $15.00 and all profits go to the
Building Fund. You may buy a copy from Frankie G. or Bobby. If you
are out of town and would like to order a book, you may send a check
in the amount of $18.00 ($15.00 + $3.00 postage & handling).
